The condition is detected, and cylinder identified, by the DME receiving & computing engine speed from the Crankshaft sensor. Further diagnostics discussed in detail below.ġ) a 'misfire' is ANY condition where one cylinder is developing less power than the cylinder immediately before/after it in the firing order. It is POSSIBLE that tank fuel level is so low that the pump can't develop correct pressure.
It appears that you have a fuel delivery problem, either a failing fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, plugged fuel filter or faulty EKP Fuel Pump Module or associated wiring. Need to confirm that you have correct DME (Press F2 Identification in INPA to see what you have) and that you have selected the correct choice in the right-hand listbox to access the DME.
AFAIK, MSD80 is the DME for the 335i/xi and yours should be MSV80 if an E92 328xi. Click to expand.First, I note your INPA page header is 'MSD80.' You say 328xi at issue.
